At the mercy of the developer

I oppose the proposal to build the 5 storey building, The Quest. In my opinion it is too large for the site, too close to neighbouring buildings, high occupancy will increase already-stressed street parking congestion and traffic. It would also be a tragedy to see the magnificent Gary Oak on the next lot destroyed. It is difficult to understand how a tree on a property that does not belong to the developer is at the mercy of that developer. Come on Oak Bay – don’t let them do it. The community plan was developed so that the values and concerns of the Oak Bay community could be heard so we hope that you will listen.
