We are not Langford

For the record, we are 100% opposed to this proposed development.

Just like Bowker (we should have gone to the meetings so I am writing now) this is a MASSIVE project which is way to big for that property which we would like to see preserved as well as the garry oak on the property. (Ed: actually on the lot next door)

We both really find the growth in oak bay alarming and are very worried about potential pending proposals for Estevan Village.

For some reason council does not seem to hear the voices of many of the people which simply states-- we like Oak Bay the way it is. We are not Langford and you and all of these approvals are changing the character of why people move here and why people love oak bay.

PS. If you are open to it, we would resubmit a proposal for a roundabout in the 5-way Estevan Village intersection. The current traffic "snowmen" are not working and the "Nose Knows" has almost caused many potential new accidents. One car recently hit the pole on the corner of estevan and musgrave.

We would propose a cheap 5-way (not like by the airport) which could maybe have a community garden or something in the middle. It does not have to be elaborate to be effective.
